Stepzy on iPhone Duo and iPad
Unfold iPhone Duo and Stepzy unfolds with it. On the inner display, and on iPad, the app uses the extra width for a two-column layout, and you can keep a small companion window open next to your other apps.
Two-column layouts
When the window is wide enough, Today, Insights, Workouts, workout details, Awards, Settings and the streak screen split into two side-by-side columns, each scrolling on its own. Stepzy measures the real window size rather than guessing from the device, so it also works in the inner display's taller book pose, in landscape on any iPhone, and in iPad Split View when there is room.
The companion window
On iPhone Duo's inner display and on iPad, Today's toolbar has a companion window button. It opens a small window with today's ring, your goal and your streak, so you can keep an eye on your steps while another app has the main screen. Tap the ring to pull in your latest steps. There is only ever one companion window - tapping the button again brings it forward.

Frequently asked questions
Does iPad get my iPhone's steps?
Yes. iPad reads the step data your iPhone syncs through iCloud.
Why don't I see the companion window button?
It only appears where the system supports more than one window and the screen is wide enough, such as iPhone Duo's inner display or iPad.
