The monthly steps calendar widget
One number tells you about today. A month of colour tells you about your habit. The calendar widget puts your whole month on the Home Screen, one square per day.
Adding it
- Press and hold an empty area of the Home Screen, then tap +.
- Search for Stepzy.
- Swipe to the Monthly Steps Calendar widgets - one per theme.
- Choose Small or Large, then Add Widget.
It comes in the same five themes as the step widgets: Sunset, Forest, Peacock, Berry and Midnight.
Reading the colours
| Colour | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Green | You met that day's goal |
| Amber | You reached at least halfway |
| Red | You finished under half |
| Indigo | A Streak Skip was used |
| Dim | No step data for that day |
Every square is graded against the goal that was active on that date, so switching to weekday and weekend goals does not repaint your past.
Small versus Large
Small shows the month grid on its own. Large adds a legend for Goal, Halfway and Low, and marks days that included a workout. Weekday order follows your device region, so Monday-first and Sunday-first both work correctly.
The Goal Calendar on the Insights tab is the interactive version - swipe between months and tap a day for its exact step count.
Frequently asked questions
Can I see previous months in the widget?
No, the widget always shows the current month. Use the Goal Calendar in Insights to browse back.
Why is today dim?
Early in the day there may be no recorded steps yet. It fills in as you move.
Is there a medium calendar widget?
The calendar widget comes in Small and Large. The Daily Steps widget covers Medium.
