App themes
Stepzy has 20 themes. They change the accent colours and gradients throughout the app, on your Apple Watch, and on any card you share.
Changing your theme
- Open Settings from the gear icon.
- Scroll to APPEARANCE and find App Theme.
- Tap any swatch in the grid. The change applies immediately.
Free themes
Four themes are available to everyone: Sunset, Onyx, Ember and Twilight. Sunset is the default; Onyx is pure black, which suits OLED iPhones.
Pro themes
The remaining 16 come with Stepzy Pro: Ocean, Forest, Midnight, Rose, Lavender, Emerald, Coral, Slate, Sage, Peacock, Berry, Aurora, Nebula, Gold, Arctic and Cherry. Locked swatches show a crown; tapping one opens the Pro screen.
Where your theme applies
- Everywhere in the iPhone and iPad app.
- Your Apple Watch app, which follows the phone.
- As the starting style on share cards - though you can pick a different one per card.
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets do not follow your in-app theme. There is one widget per theme in the gallery - Sunset, Forest, Peacock, Berry and Midnight - and all five are free. See Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets.
Frequently asked questions
Does Stepzy have a light mode?
No. Every theme is a dark theme, which is what the interface is designed around.
Can I use a Pro theme on a share card without Pro?
Yes. The card designer lets you skin any card with any of the 20 themes.
Does changing theme affect my data?
No. It is purely visual.
