Monthly challenges and Perfect Month
Every calendar month brings one challenge, shown at the top of the Awards tab. It is a personal target for that month only - there are no leaderboards and nobody else to race.
Kinds of challenge

New challenges are published by the Stepzy team and reach the app without an update. If a month has nothing new, or you are offline, you still get one: Goal Getter, hit your goal 20 days this month.
Tracking progress
The This month's challenge card shows the title, what it asks, your progress and how many days are left. Goal days are judged against each day's own goal, and today counts with your live step count. Once you finish, the card reads Completed and Stepzy sends a notification if you have them on.
Finished challenges are listed under Past Challenges, so they stay on record after the month moves on.
Some months also have a tougher challenge for Stepzy Pro members, such as December 400K. Pro members see that one; everyone else gets the month's free challenge.
The Perfect Month award
Perfect Month is a separate award: hit your goal on every day of a calendar month. Each day is judged against its own goal, and skipped or paused days are neutral - but at least one day of the month has to actually reach the goal.
It is checked against the past year of your history, so a perfect month from before you updated can still count. A day missing from your history counts as a miss.
Frequently asked questions
Can I choose a different challenge?
No. There is one challenge per month for free users, and Pro members get the Pro challenge when there is one.
Do challenges cost anything?
The monthly challenge and Perfect Month are free. Only the occasional Pro challenge needs Stepzy Pro.
I finished on the last day of the month. Did it count?
Yes. Stepzy also checks last month's challenge after midnight, so a goal hit late on the 31st is still caught.
