Personal records and weekly recap
Two cards sit under the Boarding Pass on the [Insights tab](/docs/insights): Records, your all-time bests, and Last week, a recap of the previous seven days.
Your four records
| Record | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Best day | The most steps in a single day |
| Best week | The highest total for a calendar week |
| Longest streak | Your longest run of goal days, with skipped and paused days neutral |
| Most active month | The highest total for a calendar month |
Each record shows its value and the dates it covers. Records come from the history Stepzy loads from Apple Health, which covers the last year, and once a record is set it is kept even after that day ages out.
When a record is celebrated
A new best day, week or month only counts once the period is over - today, this week and this month are still moving. A longest streak counts while it is live. Each one is celebrated once, with a New record toast and confetti on Today, and the first time Stepzy works out your records it simply sets a baseline rather than celebrating years of history at once.
The weekly recap
Last week opens a summary of the previous calendar week, using the first day of the week from your iPhone's region settings. It shows:
- Total steps and your average per day.
- Goal days out of seven.
- Your best day of the week.
- The change against the week before.
- A one-sentence summary, such as how many days you hit your goal and which day was your best.
Tap Share this week to send the recap as an image card. On iPhones that support Apple Intelligence, Stepzy Pro adds a short note from the on-device AI Coach.
Where the recap appears
- On Insights, as the Last week card, any time.
- On Today, as a compact Last week card once a new week starts, until you have opened that recap.
- As a notification at 9 AM on Mondays, if Weekly recap on Monday is switched on in Settings, then Reminders.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my best day not showing as a record yet?
If it is today, it will be judged once the day ends. Records only lock in for finished days, weeks and months.
Do records need Stepzy Pro?
No. Records and the weekly recap are free. Only the coach note on the recap is part of Pro.
